He was all pumped up, grinning from ear to ear and talking about when he could go again! Ron is quite the adventurer, absolutely loves diving and just can’t seem to get enough (kind of reminds me of you Jack!). He mentioned something about swimming with a bull that he thought was pretty cool…
Sorry I couldn’t make the dive. We had already made arrangements to have one of the boats re-powered and I had to drag it over to Pensacola on the day of the dive. Hopefully I can catch you the next time, however I am booked for the next two weeks and won’t be available until the first of November. If there is room on the boat the next time, I’m sure Ron will want to go again. If there isn’t room for Ron, we may be able to beat him with a stick to keep him off!

Ron's a cool guy, he doesn't say much but you can tell he's having a good time by the look on his face. The way the seas are looking nobody's going offshore this week. Haven't check it today but yesterday it was 8' plus. So this week is pretty much a bust. I'm glad we got to get out last Friday, by the looks of it, that was the best day all last week and this week. I'll just have to sit here and look forward to the next time. Did he share the grouper Kieth gave him with you?

No he didn't share it! I threw every hint I could think of, ...told him how good grouper is, the different ways to cook it and about how much I liked it. Heck, I even lied and told him that he was a great son-in-law! Still, no grouper for me... Maybe he saw through the lie?!!
Yeah, I've been watching the seas too. Should have the boat back on Friday, but I won't be using it. I'm a grandfather for the first time and we'll be keeping my seven week old grandson this weekend.  Heading for Barber Motorsports the next weekend... From the tides it looks like some night dives at OBP could work...
